Double or triple your dollars
Did you know that you could DOUBLE or even TRIPLE the amount of your gift to the University of Concordia at no additional cost to you? Each year, thousands of dollars in potential matching gifts go unclaimed because many people do not realize their company has a matching gifts program. These programs are an easy way to MAXIMIZE your gifts to UC and make a critical difference to our students.

How does the program work?
Each time you make a gift to the University of Concordia, your participating matching gift employer will make a direct donation to UC as well. Your company may match your gift dollar for dollar, or could even double or triple the amount you gave to UC. Matching gift programs not only give employers the opportunity to express their corporate philanthropy, but also demonstrate that they appreciate their workers by supporting the educational and other charitable organizations valued by their employees. Many firms use their resources to enhance the quality of the educational experience for University of Concordia students. In some cases, gifts from spouses and retired employees may also be eligible for a match.

Do I qualify?
To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, check out UC's matching gift company lookup page at http://www.matchinggift.com/concordia/. Matching gifts are directed to the same designation as your personal gift, unless the company's policy indicates otherwise. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your human resources department, and send it completed and signed with your gift We will do the rest. It only takes a few seconds to complete, but makes a lasting impact on our students!
